Karl Fitzpatrick to represent Chambers Ireland at the European Parliament of Enterprises (EPE) in Brussels

Managing Director of Wexford based business, Chevron Training and Recruitment and presenter of South East Radio’s Business Matters, Karl Fitzpatrick, will be part of the Chambers Ireland delegation that will travel to Brussels this week to participate in the European Parliament of Enterprises (EPE).

The EPE will provide over 750 business people from 45 European countries, with an opportunity to debate the issues which face companies across the continent. The debate will focus on four core areas; Internationalisation, Skills, Energy and Finance and participants will have the opportunity to share their views with some of the most influential and political figures in Europe.

Speaking in advance of the trip, Karl Fitzpatrick stated ‘I was delighted to receive the invitation from Chambers Ireland to attend the European Parliament of Entreprises.  From speaking to over 400 business owners from across the country on Business Matters, I understand the issues facing these companies and there are many proactive initiatives, that I believe would benefit our companies and I look forward to sharing these ideas with my counterparts from across Europe’.

Travelling in his capacity as a member of Chambers Ireland Employment, Work and Skills Policy Council, Mr.Fitzpatrick reiterated his enthusiasm for the event ‘This is a unique opportunity for us to voice our opinions and ideas to parliamentary members and it is important that we ensure that this debate is purposeful and acts as a catalyst for the development of business in Ireland and Europe’.

The European Parliament of Entreprises meet in Brussels on Thursday next (October 16th).
