Established in 1987, The Irish National Heritage Park is one of the biggest visitor attractions in the South East, welcoming about 50,000 visitors through the park each year and approx. 22,000 people through The Fulacht Fiadh Restaurant and Craft Shop.  The Irish National Heritage Park won the Wexford Tourism Award at the recent Wexford Business Awards 2013.

As part of a major redevelopment project costing €1.5 million, the Park has been completely rebuilt over the last two years and now includes a number of new activities as well as more opportunities to interact with the various exhibits in the Park and a number of new educational endeavours (e.g. arrow making, bush craft courses, summer camps etc).

At present, the Park comprises 16 separate sites stretching from the Mesolithic (some 9000 years ago) through to the Norman period (about 800 years ago), all set in 35 acres of natural woodland and wetland.  Open 362 days of the year, the Park is a unique attraction as it is the only park of its size and kind, covering almost 9,000 years of Irish history in the whole of Ireland.

This promises to be a very enjoyable evening. To register your attendance at this FREE event, kindly email Edain Byrne at office@wexfordchamber.ie or phone 053 9122226.
