Digital Skills Training

CTEC – the Community Training & Education Centre – has been awarded €85,000 in funding from the Department of Communications, Climate Action and Environment for Digital Skills Training in County Wexford.  CTEC is delighted to offer 100 FREE Digital Skills courses throughout County Wexford.

These courses aim to provide people with the confidence and skills to participate in today’s digital world and are fully funded by this grant. Courses will commence in late January and details will be available on the CTEC website – www.ctecwexford.ie.   

 Course Content:

  • Introduction to Internet, Internet Safety & Security
  • Email, Social Media, Online Banking and Security
  • Online Government Services, Shopping Online

Courses will be delivered over 5 sessions 2 hours per week in various locations throughout the county.  Each class will have a maximum of 10 students.  Owners of small businesses (<10 people) are also eligible for this free training.  CTEC is happy to arrange classes for community groups on site so long as participants meet any one of the following criteria:

  • Over 45+
  • Farming communities
  • Small Business owners (<10 people)
  • Unemployed Persons
  • Persons with disabilities
  • Disadvantaged groups
