An Innovative Resource for the South East at Talbot Suites at Stonebridge

50-kitchen-living-2The lavish complex at Talbot Suites at Stonebridge opened its doors to Wexford Chamber Members on Wednesday evening last, 30th November for a Business After Hours networking event in association with Wexford Chamber.

Developed in 2008, Stonebridge has several large retail units, including TK Maxx, a multi-storey car park, an exquisitely refurbished six-storey former grain store, as well as 73 luxury self-catering apartments.   Having laid idle for eight years, the development in Paul Quay Wexford was purchased as a major acquisition by Cormac Pettitt of the Talbot Hotel Collection. Talbot Suites at Stonebridge welcomed its first guests in June this year.

Madeleine Quirke CEO, Wexford Chamber said, “We could not have asked for a more exclusive  venue for our last Business After Hours event of 2016. The spectacular views alone are enough to make guests fall in love with Wexford town.  I would invite you all to encourage your family and friends to utilise this unique tourism proposition.  It is wonderful to see the Pettitt family bring a resource like this to Wexford, so innovative, not only for the town and the County but for the whole of the South East and I wish the Talbot Hotel group every success with this project.”

Delighted to be able to showcase the new apartments to the local business community, Lisa Carmody, Sales & Marketing Manager at Talbot Suites at Stonebridge thanked everyone for coming and said, “This is a very exciting venture for the Talbot Hotel collection. We were thrilled to be the official accommodation partner for the UEFA Women’s Champions League Qualifiers in August with over 150 players, management and officials descending on Wexford Town for one week.  Our plan is to bring many more events and conferences to Wexford with the additional accommodation now available at Talbot Suites at Stonebridge.”

Guests were given a tour of the suite of apartments on offer at Talbot Suites at Stonebridge, which are ideally suited for spacious family holidays, luxury breaks and executive stays.  Located just 100 metres from its existing family owned Talbot Hotel Wexford, the complex features a mix of one, two and three bedroom apartments over 5 floors with a choice of sea views or courtyard views. The apartments features an ultra modern kitchen, with the living areas having floor-to-ceiling windows offering stunning sea views along the Quayside and a sky-high view of Wexford town.  In addition guests have access to the pool, leisure centre, food and beverage services at the adjacent Talbot Hotel.

The Wexford-based hotel group also operates the Talbot Hotels in Wexford town, Carlow and Stillorgan and during 2014 added the Oriel House Hotel and the Midleton Park Hotel to its hotel portfolio.

The evening ended with a business card draw. Elizabeth Whyte, Wexford Arts Centre won 6 months Gym and Pool Membership at Quay Leisure Centre at Talbot Hotel Wexford, courtesy of Talbot Suites at Stonebridge.
