IDA Team Visit County Wexford

We were very pleased to welcome a team from IDA Ireland to County Wexford on August 5th.
With 23 IDA client companies already based in the county and employing over 3,590 people, foreign direct investment (FDI) plays a vital role in our county’s economic success.
This meeting with IDA representatives was an important opportunity to discuss what’s in the pipeline, the challenges we face in attracting further FDI, and how we can work together to unlock future growth. Unsurprisingly, we’re all aligned on the strategic importance of two key assets:
• The completion of the N11 motorway – which will significantly reduce travel time from Dublin Airport
• The development of the Offshore Renewable Energy (ORE) Hub at Rosslare Europort – a game-changer in attracting energy companies to our region
Our sincere thanks to Ray O’Connor, Brian McGee, and Eva Walsh from IDA Ireland for the open and constructive conversation. We look forward to continued collaboration in strengthening Wexford’s position as a hub for investment and innovation.
