County Wexford Chamber has appointed Ed Murphy as President. An experienced entrepreneur, he aims to support local businesses, promote economic growth, launch the 2026–2028 Strategic Plan, and highlight Wexford’s success stories while developing initiatives that help businesses thrive and create quality jobs.
County Wexford Chamber CEO Paula Roche joined Chambers Ireland’s delegation to Brussels, engaging EU policymakers and attending the European Parliament of Enterprises 2025. Discussions focused on trade, competitiveness, and clean energy. The delegation also met Voka and Ireland’s EU Representation, strengthening advocacy and ensuring Wexford businesses’ voices influence European policy.
The visit strengthened Canada–County Wexford relations, highlighting opportunities in trade, innovation, and clean energy. Discussions covered CETA, Ireland’s strategic EU role, and Canada’s growth sectors. Emphasis was placed on shared legal systems, competitive advantages, and upcoming trade missions, fostering stronger bilateral ties to boost investment, innovation, and regional prosperity.
The County Wexford Chamber Leadership Summit 2025 takes place on November 20 at the Riverside Park Hotel, Enniscorthy. Hosted by Ciara Doherty, the event features top speakers, panels, networking, and showcases focused on leadership, innovation, and AI. It runs from 9am to 4pm and includes lunch and interactive sessions.

County Wexford Chamber Calls for Strategic Investment to Drive Sustainable Growth in Pre-Budget Submission

County Wexford Chamber has today published its Pre-Budget Submission 2026, setting out the key priorities needed to support economic growth, business competitiveness, and community wellbeing across the county.

The IDA Ireland team visited County Wexford to discuss foreign direct investment opportunities, key infrastructure projects, and future collaboration to boost regional economic growth and innovation.
County Wexford Chamber proudly hosted the European Parliament’s Transport & Tourism Committee for a strategic visit showcasing the region’s infrastructure achievements, business leadership, and future in Offshore Renewable Energy (ORE).

County Wexford Chamber CEO Paula Roche joined the July 14 launch of a five-year Destination and Experience Development Plan (DEDP) by Fáilte Ireland and Ireland’s Ancient East. Aimed at making Wexford a top year-round coastal destination, the plan builds on its strong tourism base—919,000 annual visitors and €210 million in revenue.

Backed by Wexford County Council, the DEDP outlines six major projects, including expanding attractions, improving greenways, and developing outdoor and coastal facilities. It also includes support initiatives in accommodation, events, food tourism, and sustainability—driving economic growth and enriching visitor experiences.
On June 19, County Wexford Chamber was honoured to host a distinguished delegation of South African businesses and representatives for a high-impact B2B networking event. The gathering brought together local and international stakeholders to explore opportunities for collaboration, trade, and innovation between Ireland and South Africa.
