Credit Review Office Report Welcomed

Wexford Chamber has  welcomed the thirteenth quarterly report of the Credit Review Office.

Martin Doyle, President of Wexford Chamber,  said “This report highlights a positive trend of businesses moving towards financing for working capital and investment. An increase in demand for this kind of funding is indicative of a recovering economy. However, the report raises a concern regarding adequate banking capacity to service the growing needs of the SME sector which must be addressed if the economy is to continue to recover. It is vital that we ensure sufficient funding is available to viable SMEs and not just those of a low risk nature.”
