The Ultimate Style Event of the Season – Wexford Style is back for it’s fifth year!

Wexford Chamber in association with Donohoe Mercedes-Benz is delighted to announce details of this years charity event which will see fashionistas gather for a champagne reception in the iconic glass building of the County Hall on Saturday, October 1st at 8pm.

Fashion Stylist and TV Presenter Marietta Doran will present this year’s event and will bestow her stamp of approval on the collections. Jewellery Designer of the Year Bláithín Ennis will return to dazzle guests with her edgy creations, while Irelands Eye bespoke collection and Fashion Designer Kymaia will showcase their looks for the season.

The catwalk show will once again be charmed by the magic touch of our Creative Director Keith Jordan and it will feature stunning designs by 18 of County Wexford’s most exciting boutiques. Gorey Boutiques featured are Ruby Rouge, Liz Collins Boutique and Place. Wexford Boutiques include Ava Boutique, Carnaby, Carrig Donn, Empress Boutique, Frock, Panache, Pamela Scott, Runaway Bride, Si Jolie and Vintage Belle as well as Ottiva from Enniscorthy and Noreen  O’Donnell from New Ross.  Back again this year is Eden Manor Bridal who will showcase their bridal and men’s formal wear collections.

New to this year’s event, Róisín Dempsey will sing live to a number of scenes and the children from Corish-Wallace Performing Arts School will perform wearing the new season collection from children’s boutique Babooshka.

Top models including Yomiko, Sarah McGovern and Teo Sultra will showcase the glamour, with award-winning hairdresser Alan Keville and his team making sure there isn’t an unintended hair out of place. And back again to look after our male models will be the team from The Cutthroat Club. The make-up artists from Gainfort Academy will showcase looks for the season ahead!

Wexford Chamber are delighted to announce that Wexford MarineWatch has been selected as the charity partner for this year’s show. Wexford MarineWatch is a voluntary organisation which provides Suicide Prevention Patrols along Wexford Quays, Estuary & Harbour. This very worthy charity has become an integral part of the community. Their volunteers have successfully dealt with 180 incidents in the 3 years since its foundation and 82 lives have been directly saved – either prevented from entering, or recovered from the water in the Harbour.

Tickets are €35, which includes a complimentary glass of bubbles on arrival.  Last year’s event was a complete sell-out so early booking is advised! Tickets are available online from www.wexfordchamber.ie/shop or by contacting Wexford Chamber on 053 9122226, by emailing traceymorgan@wexfordchamber.ie. Check us out on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

With the season’s top styles on display, and some exclusive offers available, the evening is a must for any fashionistas diary!
