Working From Home Risk Assessments

The course will include;

  1. How to amend your safety statement to include home risk assessment
  2. Outlining in detail the risk assessment and how to complete the risk assessment virtually
  3. Explaining what is meant by the Hierarchy of controls
  4. How to complete a Hazard assessment and what is meant by that
  5. How to provide safe systems of work in the home that are panned,organised and maintained
  6. How to implement appropriate control measures following the risk assessment
  7. How to audit controls that have been put in place in the home
  8. In the light of COVID-19 providing appropriate PPE
  9. Ensuring safe equipment available and appropriate for use
  10. Reviewing procedures in place in the office to protect customers and staff who attend the work place on a phased basis
  11. Providing guidance to employees on how to protect their family members in the vulnerable group
  12. Quantifying the difference between the vulnerable group and extremely vulnerable group
  13. How to protect the mental health of employees while they work from home
  14. How to prevent RSI injuries and Neck and Back pain in employees working from home
  15. Outlining how to have an emergency plan in place,particularly relevant for employees with pre-existing conditions or lone workers
  16. Additional topics can be covered depending on feedback of participants
