EBS

EBS (formerly EBS Building Society) has been in Wexford Town since 1968 when Paddy Sheridan (Sheridan Insurances) first became an Agent for EBS in the town. As EBS was a small part of the Sheridans business in recent years, they gave up the agency in January this year when they moved to The Arc in Drinagh. However EBS still operates from the same premises at 93 Nth Main Street and has now expanded the team from 3 staff to 7 staff recently. EBS focuses on family finance offering mortgages, savings, investments and insurance products and services. EBS have been helping people to build or buy their home since 1935 and EBS have several Mortgage Masters in Wexford waiting to help new customers. Unlike many of the high street banks, EBS have retained the personal approach to doing business face to face.

The EBS Agency was taken over in January by Maurice McGee who has been in the industry since 1986 also runs the EBS office in Waterford. Maurice has ambitious plans to grow the business in Wexford over the next few years.
