Chambers Ireland Launch Their Annual Corporate Social Responsibility Awards in Dublin Castle

Chambers Ireland launched their annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Awards on 3rd March in Dublin Castle . The awards recognise the work of companies engaged in all spectrums of CSR.

Carambola Kidz was the 2013 and 2014 winner of Excellence in CSR by an SME. Founder Colm O’Brien was thrilled to be asked to speak on the CSR Panel at the Chambers Ireland/BITCI event in Dublin Castle.

Anna Wickham of Oven Door Catering based out of the Wexford Enterprise Centre in Kerlogue is Carambola Kidz Southeast Partner.

Madeleine Quirke, CEO of Wexford Chamber, who attended the launch in Dublin said “At its core, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is about companies taking on a responsibility and awareness of their effect on the local community, environment, their employees and stakeholders. Companies that engage in CSR make a commitment to run their business in a sustainable and responsible way.  I  would encourage everybody to consider adopting a CSR strategy and whether your commitment is big or small, it will make a difference.”
