  1. Future of Fintech in Ireland and the UK

Chamber members are invited to a Fintech conference from 9.30am to 1pm on June 27th, held in the stunning Westin Hotel in Dublin. This event has been organised by the UK Department for International Trade and BITA.

This exclusive event will be moderated by Peter Oakes of Fintech Ireland and Fintech UK and will feature an impressive selection of speakers on a number of panel discussions and keynotes discussing the Irish and UK Fintech markets, the emerging area of Regtech, funding considerations for companies looking to scale and why the UK continues to be the location for Irish companies to take their business to the next level.

  1. Employers Disability Information Service

The National Disability Authority along with its consortium partners ISME, IBEC and Chambers Ireland announced that Seònaid Ó Murchadha has joined the organisation to assist in the development and coordinating of the Employer Disability Information service, a resource funded by the National Disability Authority.

ISME, CEO Neil McDonnell said “On behalf of the consortium members, we’re delighted to welcome Seònaid on board. Since its inception, the Employer Disability Information service has become the go-to place for employers who need information or support on the recruitment or retention of employees with disabilities. Given her extensive experience in the area, we look forward to Seònaid taking the service to the next level with employers nationwide.”
