International Women’s Day 2018 with PWC

International Womens’ Day (‘IWD’) is a day to celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women around the world.

In celebration of this very special day, PwC Wexford would be delighted if you could join us for an evening of networking, fashion and style featuring practical style tips from stylist Julie Cobbe (Stylefish), a talk by well-known skin-care expert and CEO of Holos Skincare – Niamh Hogan and an insight from Ann O’Brien Managing Director of Kent Stainless (Wexford) Limited on rising to the top of her field and leading a successful company in a typically male dominated industry.

Ann O’ Brien MD – Kent Stainless (Wexford) Limited

Ann O’ Brien is Managing Director (MD) of Kent Stainless (Wexford) Limited, a Wexford based leading manufacturer and global exporter of bespoke stainless steel and infrastructural products which was set up by her father Pat Kent in 1982.
Ann joined the family business straight from school, initially working in the finance department, following which she progressed to heading up the HR department before being appointed as MD of the Company.
During her time as MD, Ann has experienced many changes in what has traditionally been a male-dominated industry and has been instrumental in creating a culture of innovation, developing new products and leading the Company into new markets.

Julie Cobbe (Stylefish)

Julie is a well-known and accomplished stylist. Having completed a Commerce Degree from UCC and training as a solicitor, Julie set up Stylefish in 2009. Key achievements with the Stylefish brand include succeeding in getting backing from 3 dragons on RTE’s Dragons Den in 2011, winning a National Enterprise Award and appearing on Irish Tatler’s list of ‘ fashion entrepreneurs to watch’. In 2014 Julie launched her Diploma in Personal Styling to train, support and give other women the opportunity to gain a professional styling qualification and get into fashion just like she did.
Julie has been a member of the board of FIPI (Federation of Image Professional International) with the position of Communications & PR Director for 2 years. Her remit includes improving communications and opportunities for personal stylists through FIPI aswell as linking FIPI more closely with the modern fashion industry.

Niamh Hogan (Holos)

A native of Enniscorthy, Niamh is the creator and CEO of Holos Skincare, a luxurious plant-based aromatherapy skincare brand handmade in Wexford which is now available worldwide. Niamh launched Holos 3 years ago after 15 years as a Natural Health Therapist. To date Niamh has been successful in securing investment from Enterprise Ireland and from Dragon’s Den Investor Eleanor McEvoy.
