The innovative nature of the 2014 Wexford Business Expo has attracted support from Government, with Minister Brendan Howlin attending the official launch of this year’s event, in Wexford today.

The economic recovery is on its way and the 2014 Wexford Business Expo will prepare businesses for the upturn. Wexford Chamber will host the annual Wexford Business Expo on November 13th 2014 in Whites of Wexford, where 100 of the County’s best businesses will be exhibiting to, in excess of 2,000 visitors on the day.

Commenting on the event, Chief Executive of Wexford County Council, Tom Enright said “Wexford County Council is delighted to be the main sponsor for the Wexford Business Expo 2014 and this aligns with the Council’s commitment to facilitating and promoting economic development in the County. I believe that this year’s revised format will present exciting opportunities for businesses here in Wexford and I have no doubt that the Expo will provide a springboard for businesses to help them to develop and grow. The EXPO is very timely as we see a growing confidence in the business sector as economic conditions improve with many established companies securing new investments and expanding their operations.”

This year’s event, which is sponsored by Wexford County Council, will be the largest business expo to hit the South East. Featuring an Angels’ Den, Speed Networking, a Business Connections hub, Peer to Peer mentoring and an extensive suite of workshops, this is an event that your business simply cannot afford to miss. Speaking at the launch of the Expo, Presenter of South East Radio’s Business Matters, Karl Fitzpatrick, said “I am proud to be involved in organising such an innovative event, which will provide Wexford businesses with the competitive advantages that will be necessary for them to excel in a recovering economy.”

The range of workshops at this year’s Expo will help many business owners overcome their challenges and a selection of the topics being addressed include; “Unconventional Ways to Raise Finance”, “How to Increase your Sales in a Competitive Market”, and “How to Develop a Digital Marketing Strategy”. Madeleine Quirke, CEO of Wexford Chamber said “With renowned guest speakers from across the country, attendees are guaranteed that they will receive the best business advice available.”

The 2014 Wexford Business Expo takes place on 13th November 2014 in Whites of Wexford from 10.00am – 6.00pm.
