Wexford Arts Centre Fundraisers for 40th Anniversary

In 2014, Wexford Arts Centre celebrates its 40th anniversary  as the oldest regional arts centre in Ireland, delivering a vibrant arts programme inspiring creativity in the community through its visual arts, music, theatre, literature and education programme.

Wexford Arts Centre is a not for profit charitable registered organisation and will run a number of fundraisers to support the ongoing access to its programme for Free and accessible charges.  A fundraiser evening of entertainment with mini auction will take place on Friday 29th November 8pm with €20 charge to include welcome glass of bubbles and guaranteed raffle ticket gift.  There will also be music and comedy and a mini auction to include a donation of a prestigous Abba jacket  given to Jackie Hayden  by the Abba band on their one and only Dublin tour in 1979.  Signed memorabilia from artists also included as well as artworks.  If interested in donating an item or service please contact elizabeth@wexfordartscentre.ie

On Saturday 29th/30th December there will be the first ever Fretstival Fundraiser.  Local, national and international bands and solo musicians will be taking part in this 24 hrs of music programme involving the guitar from 12pm to 12am both days  including guitar talks and workshops and participation of guitar vendors.  Musicians from all genres welcome to donate their time to register contact amy@wexfordartscentre.ie.  Please click on the image below for more details…

Attendees can avail of a €24 all access weekend or €15 per day pass or pay €6 per event.
