Kent Stainless to showcase Manufacturing Innovation & Sustainability

kent-stainlessWexford Chamber, in association with Kent Stainless Ltd, is inviting plant and production managers to a free ‘Manufacturing Excellence’ site visit of Kent Stainless’ manufacturing plant on Tuesday, 23rd April from 5.00pm – 7.00pm.

Founded in 1982, Kent Stainless is one of the worlds leading designers and manufacturers of stainless steel products, who operate out of a state of the art 80,000 sq. ft. plant in Ardcavan, Wexford.  With 100 employees, Kent Stainless offer complete engineering solutions, supplying custom built machinery and products to a wide variety of industries. Some of its stainless steel products include drainage, street furniture, sanitary ware, medical equipment and machine building.

Ann O’Brien, Managing Director at Kent Stainless, will give participants an insight into the company background and an overview of their departments, products & services.  Ann will also speak about how the company has achieved remarkable growth and successes in markets abroad.  On-site management will bring attendees on a tour of Kent Stainless to share their manufacturing processes and showcase their best-in-class technologies and facilities.

In November 2012, Kent Stainless won the Manufacturing Exporter of the Year 2012 at an awards ceremony hosted by the Irish Exporters Association in Dublin and went on to being awarded with the overall accolade of Exporter of the Year 2012.  These awards recognised Kent Stainless’ exceptional performance in securing and building new export markets and the continuous ability of their in-house design team to bring innovative new products to a broad range of industries.
