National Women’s Enterprise Day event in Gorey

Acting CEO Emma Dunphy and Development Officer Deirdre O’Flynn were delighted to attend the National Women’s Enterprise Day event in Gorey on Thursday 13th October.

 

 

 

Organised by Local Enterprise Office Wexford the event was attended by 100 businesswomen from across County Wexford.

MC at event was Joanne Hession, founder of LIFT Ireland. She chaired a panel of speakers, consisting of jewellery designer Chupi Sweetman, Wexford Food Family chairperson and Trudies Kitchen owner Trudie Power, UEFA and World Cup assistant referee Michelle O’ Neill, and Breege Cosgrave, Acting Head of Enterprise and Economic Development, Wexford County Council.

 

The speakers highlighted the benefits of supports and positive people when starting and scaling up a business. They spoke about the importance of defining success for yourself and the need to plan the steps needed to achieve that success
