Reeds Restaurant at the four-star Ferrycarrig Hotel has been re-designed following an extensive renovation. The re-designed restaurant was unveiled while hosting Wexford Chambers first Business After Hours Networking Event of 2015 on Thursday, March 26th and was attended by over 60 local businesses.

The re-design of Reeds features a sweeping change of decor; and with its unique setting, special attention was also placed on accentuating the fantastic view of the Slaney estuary and its varied wildlife passing by for its patrons.

To complete the brand new look, Executive Head Chef Tony Carty has developed a new approach to the menu composition and its presentation.  Dishes feature an extensive list of ingredients from fresh, local suppliers ranging from Rosslare Crabmeat, Enniscorthy Rib eye steak, Kilmore Hake, Rack of Slaney Valley Lamb and Killowen Farm yoghurt to name but a few.

Commenting at the re-launch of Reeds Restaurant, Michael Griffin CEO of The Griffin Group said, “We believe in being “of our place”; so in every step of this project we committed to using local contractors and suppliers wherever possible. Our focus was on utilising the best of local ingredients and a re-emphasis of our fantastic location. Understanding the key to any good restaurant is in its ability to deliver great food with excellent customer service consistently; we have paid very close attention to this aspect of the new Reeds Restaurant. I would like to thank all the employees of Ferrycarrig Hotel for their tremendous commitment to delivering a truly great dining experience for our customers. We are all genuinely excited to welcome people back to the new and improved Reeds Restaurant”.
