You will have heard many reports from the media and others regarding the viability issue with residential development in many urban centres throughout Ireland. The SCSI is very active in producing evidenced based  research to recommend policy changes to government in order to tackle the issues affecting the supply of residential housing.  The south east region of SCSI has arranged a CPD briefing next Tuesday 17th May in Wexford County Hall where Michéal Mahon, Chartered QS, will make a presentation on the construction costs of delivering a typical 3 bedroom semi-detached house. The presentation will highlight the extent of the additional costs associated with delivering a residential unit.

This special lunchtime CPD will be held in Wexford County Hall and is open to senior management from local authorities in the south east to attend.

Light refreshments will be provided and this briefing comes with 2.5 hours CPD credit.

Please book your place by Friday next at https://www.scsi.ie/calendar/event/view?id=198
