The Innovation Imperative

The Innovation Imperative

Are you attending the Ibec Regional Insights Series at the Clayton Whites Hotel, Wexford on 5 May? This two hour seminar is entirely free of charge to attend but you must pre register here.

Innovation programmes come in many shapes and forms, but can sometimes struggle to get real results and generate business growth. This event will help companies discover practical ideas and supports and generate actual business growth from their innovation efforts.

Representatives from Waterford IoT, Carlow IoT and Knowledge Transfer Ireland will provide an overview of the supports available for businesses as they either commence or continue their innovation journey. With local insight this session will arm businesses with the knowledge to ensure they avail of every support available.

Maeve McElwee, Ibec Director of Employer Relations, will provide insight on the people side of Innovation-based Competitiveness. How can a company ensure their employees are ready and willing to support the innovation efforts of the organisation? What are the HR implications for a truly innovative business?

Conor Minogue, Senior Innovation & Education Policy Executive, Ibec will speak about the ecosystem necessary to nurture and enhance innovative enterprise and what you can do to impact this.

We will also be joined by local business MSD and Electric Ireland who will provide insight to their experience of innovation and what it has meant for their business.

This event is not to be missed, register to attend today.

I look forward to seeing you there,

Fergal O’Brien,
Director of Policy, Ibec
