Special guests this year will include Scrooge and Bosco. The Ice Maiden will be on her throne on stage with various choirs on the Quayside and will await Santa to arrive at 6pm to switch on the Christmas Lights.

No doubt Santa and Mrs. Claus will get a huge welcome from all the Wexford girls and boys!

This year, Wexford Retailers, thanks to the generosity of local businesses, will be providing kilometres of twinkling festive lights and two spectacular Christmas trees. Piped music will echo the sound of Christmas all along the Main Street.

The Wexford People Wexford on Ice will return to the Quay Front until January 10th. This is no ordinary ice rink as skaters will be cajoled by a spectacular lighting show and giant screens showing winter scenes, Christmas move snippets and Winter Olympic clips to inspire!

Christmas Outdoor Movies will be shown in the Bullring up until Christmas and new for 2015 is Santa’s Train, also running until Christmas. Little ones will enjoy a truly magical experience while listening to special Christmas stories from none other than Santa himself! Santa’s train will depart from the Bullring, travel down to Wexford Quay to see the Ice Rink, visit the Christmas Trees on the Quay and in Redmond Square, and finally back along the main street to see the festive lights and hear the Christmas music.

Wexford County Council have announced free parking in all public car parks from 11am every Tuesday until Christmas.
