Wexford Cycle – Supporting The Peter McVerry Trust

As the Peter McVerry Trust is the Dublin Chamber of Commerce’s chosen charity for 2015, we’re delighted to announce that this year ‘Welcome Home’ will be celebrating their 26th annual cycle in aid of this well-deserved charity on Saturday the 19th September. They will be leaving UCD at 7.30am sharp and head for the road to Wexford. There will be a big ‘Welcome Home’ finish line outside Whites of Wexford Hotel where you will receive your medal. There will be transport at the finish line for your bike which will be available for collection the following day in UCD.

As 19th September is the first World Cup Irish rugby match they will have plenty of screens in the bar for everyone to watch. This will be followed by a drinks reception at 6pm with a barbeque, live music from a special band and a DJ. This year they are offering the facility to pre-book a table for your group – contact welcomehomeirl@gmail.com. This promises to be a great night with great people, making great memories.

There will be coaches available to bring you back to Dublin, one at approximately 6.30pm and more leaving Whites at 11pm. There is also the option to stay over in Whites of Wexford with coaches heading to Dublin on Sunday morning.
