Wexford Spreads to Northern Ireland

Award-winning jam, marmalade and preserves brand Wexford Home Preserves has announced that it is now being distributed in Northern Ireland through Marketing Services.

Through their extensive customer base, the full range of products is now stocked by leading retailers provincewide.

Simon Cooke of Marketing Services NI commented “We have worked hard to build a reputation over the years. Our customers know they can rely on us to deliver the very best to them – products that will delight customers and that are good for business. We are happy to say that Wexford Home Preserves meets our criteria and we look forward to a flourishing working relationship with them.”

Each of Wexford Home Preserves’ products is made by hand in small batches in their production kitchen in New Ross, Co. Wexford using nothing but natural ingredients which are sourced as locally as possible.

Co-owner of Wexford Home Preserves Laura Sinnott commented “We are delighted that our little family business has now reached all of the island of Ireland. We know that there is a fabulous food tradition in Northern Ireland and we look forward to being part of that. Our heartfelt thanks goes to the shops that have put our products on their shelves – we really appreciate it.”

Through the support of InterTradeIreland’s Acumen programme, Wexford Home Preserves has been able to appoint an experienced, in-market Business Development Manager to identify and win new sales in Northern Ireland.

Colin McCabrey, Director of Trade at InterTradeIreland commented “InterTradeIreland is here to support companies that have a strong offering and want to tap into a new market just across the border. It’s great to see Wexford Home Preserves export into Northern Ireland for the first time and we are delighted to provide the resource, knowledge and skills to assist them to continue to grow and strengthen cross-border sales.”
