Wexford’s credit unions as they come on top for customer experience again

For an unprecedented seventh consecutive year, Credit unions have claimed the top position for the best customer experience in Ireland at the official Customer Experience (CX) awards.

Credit unions were announced as the only brand to have maintained a constant presence in the top ten since the survey began, which is a testament to the consistency of excellence provided to customers.

Speaking about the achievement, Gorey’s Tom Brennan, Head of Business Development in Altura Credit Union said, “Winning the CX award for the seventh consecutive year is an amazing achievement. We are proud of the values and ethos we have here at Altura Credit Union where we have members, rather than customers.

“We understand our members’ needs and we tailor our services accordingly. The team in Altura from the top down always keep the member at the centre of all decisions made. Our aim is to always provide an excellent member experience whether it’s online, over the phone or in one of our six branches where every day members are sure to be met by friendly, understanding ,member focused staff.”

He added that the recent installation of an ATM in the Rathdrum branch shows Altura’s commitment to people in local areas where their local bank has pulled out of the area.

There are now plans to install more ATMs and as a celebration of the recent win, Altura will be holding a member draws with some excellent prizes to be won in-branch or on the social media platforms. The Customer Experience Insight report is published annually by the CX Company based on a survey carried out on their behalf by Amárach Research.

Over 28,000 experiences were evaluated using the CX Framework, including value, channel usage, how important employees are to the customer experience, and net promoter score which measures the loyalty of customers to a company.
