Myle Doyle Grocery Store in Gorey, established in 1966

Myles Doyle established his traditional grocery store in Gorey in February, 1966. Over the past 50 years the shop developed a reputation for welcoming friendly service. Myles’ son, John, has been working in the grocery store since leaving school and John and his wife Breda have transitioned the business into a select grocers and fine wine merchant – a one stop shop for the discerning foodie in all of us.

The husband and wife team felt there was a very real need to marry convenience with superb, authentic, quality ingredients, and they have curated a stunning range of artisan products, enabling the customer to explore an exciting and unique range of food and drink from the very best Irish producers.

John continues his father’s legacy in the way he matches customers’ expectations – Proud to be exquisitely traditional, a phrase that reflects the love, pride and passion that he injects into each area of the business, ensuring that this destination store keeps on providing an unequalled customer experience.
