According to recent research by the Marketing Institute of Ireland 84% of companies are using Internet marketing and social media tools to build better relationships with customers. The same research also highlighted that 67% of companies will use email campaigns to promote their business, followed by blogging at 55% and search engine optimisation at 52%.
Commenting on the research findings Gavin Redmond, Creative Development Manager with Wexford based Daralinn Digital Academy said, “Digital marketing is a relatively new field and one that is growing in importance for Irish businesses as more consumers flock to research and buy on the Web. From a marketing point of view, the targeting options that services like Google and Facebook Ads give us are simply incredible.”
In response to growing demand Daralinn Digital Academy has recently launched a new FETAC Level 5 Award in Internet Marketing. This practical course, taught in a bespoke computer training laboratory, will equip participants with a range of skills of benefit to any type of business.
The course will cover email marketing, search engine optimisation, Google Ads and also a range of social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook and Linkedin.
