Wexford Chamber is delighted to invite you to attend a Business After Hours event at Sam McCauley Chemists Redmond Square, Wexford on Tuesday 10th September at 5.30pm.

Originally known as GB McCauley & Son, Sam McCauley Chemists were founded in 1953 with a single store in Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford.  Sam McCauley and his wife Leslie, both Pharmacists, joined the family business in 1978 maintaining the well-established ‘family Chemist’ culture. The first store outside of Enniscorthy was opened in 1991 in Redmond Square, Wexford and has since continued to grow into a thriving enterprise.

Today, Sam McCauley Chemists Group currently operates 28 stores nationally, with a strong presence in Counties Carlow, Cavan, Cork, Dublin, Kerry, Kilkenny, Tipperary, Waterford, Wicklow and of course Wexford . The Group employs over 570 staff and has an annual turnover in excess of €80 million.

Housing a photo bar, beauty spa & salon as well as an extensive range of cosmetics, fragrance, jewellery and cameras, Sam McCauleys in Redmond Square recently completed a huge store refit which has resulted in up to 50% more shop floor space.

Sam McCauley Chemists Redmond Square is inviting local businesses to join them on the evening for networking and light refreshments.

The format for the event is as follows:-

5.30 pm Arrival & Light Refreshments served in O’Briens Sandwich Bar, Redmond Square
6.00 pm Formal welcome by Madeleine Quirke CEO Wexford Chamber followed by
A presentation from Patrick McCormack, Managing Director at Sam McCauley Chemists
Prize Draw – Benefit Cosmetics Hamper worth €150
A tour of the Beauty & Spa Salon
7.00 pm Informal Networking
7.30 pm Formal Event Close

Cost to Attend:  Members FREE; Non Members €10
