About the South East Learning Centre

Established in Wexford Town in 2003, the South East Learning Centre is the place of choice for students who need extra tuition in their studies. With professional teachers, small classes and a warm and comfortable environment, its reputation for quality tuition is second to none. As well as students from all the local schools, its student base’s reach extends to New Ross, Enniscorthy, Gorey and even Wicklow and Waterford – it is truly a South East operation.

From Junior Cert to Leaving Cert and Third Level, it can cater to students whose needs include Mathematics, Irish, English, French, Japanese, Chemistry, Biology, Accounting and Business Studies. It is always delighted to welcome new students.

In October 2014, under the management of mathematician Kevin Breen, the centre took ownership Kirwan House, one of the oldest and most well known Georgian houses in the Wexford Town, and has converted it into a grind school. Years of “modernization” have been carefully stripped back and the building has been restored to much of its former splendour. The centre boasts 5 classrooms, reception and extensive kitchen facilities. Wifi is provided free to all. There is ample parking nearby and it is situated within walking distance of all of Wexford’s schools.

In 2014, the centre, together with other Wexford businesses, established the South East Learning Network, which has since been providing IT and web training courses.
