South East Radio Shortlisted for THREE National PPI Radio Awards

The annual national PPI awards honour excellence in local and national radio across a range of categories.  An independent judging panel reviews every entry in each of the six categories and further sub categories. This year South East Radio is delighted to announce the station has been shortlisted, in three categories beating off stiff competition from national radio stations such as RTE, Today FM, Newstalk and 2FM.

The categories are as follows: Best Current Affairs Programme; for South East Radio’s Morning Mix, presented by Alan Corcoran, Best Drama; for “A Handful of Stars” and Best Specialist Speech Programme for “Following Wexford’s Blue Whale to London” in the Wexford’s Wild Heritage Series. The overall winners will be announced on Friday 9th October at a gala ball in the Radisson Blu Hotel, Galway.

This latest success comes after South East Radio won national PPI Radio Awards in 2014 & 2013.
