Brian O’Driscoll leads the pack with address at the Leaders Summit business conference

Leaders Summit will take place in Whites of Wexford on Friday, 25th October with a line-up of dynamic speakers from multi-national, Irish companies and Ireland’s Rugby Great Brian O’Driscoll. This one-day event will offer an unrivalled opportunity to interact with, and learn from, senior leaders in some of the world’s most successful organisations such as Microsoft, Nokia and Mondelez International.

At the launch, O’Driscoll commented; ” I was delighted to have been asked by Brendan and Colin to share some of my experience in motivating and leading teams at the upcoming Leaders Summit in Wexford. I think there are far more similarities between business and sport than you would first think, both depend on precise planning, detailed preparation and final delivery. I’m also looking forward to hearing and learning from some really great leaders on the day and I think the Leaders Summit is a great platform for business of any size to gain a practical insight into how to grow and develop their business”.

On the day, an expected audience of 500 delegates will be addressed by leading business influencers including Peter O’Donovan, Head of Online at Paddy Power and Gwen Gould, Chocolate Beverages Platform Leader – Global Coffee with Mondelez International (owner of Cadburys), Clare Dillon, Developer and Platform Leader at Microsoft and Eoin Cruise, Head of Sales and Marketing Operations from Nokia to name but a few.

The afternoon session on Leadership will kick off with the CEO of Goal, Barry Andrews followed by Irish and Leinster Rugby Player, Brian O’Driscoll and Cathriona Hallahan, MD of Microsoft Ireland will conclude the session.

Delegates will have the opportunity during the conference, to visit executives from key global companies such as Microsoft and Nokia and seek advice on a one to one basis. An extensive exhibition area will also showcase the latest products and services.

The inaugural Techovate Conference took place in Wexford Opera house last March where over 500 delegates converged in Wexford with speakers from the world’s global technology leaders such as Google, Facebook, Microsoft, IBM and Cisco as well as successful Irish companies such as the Taxback Group, Netwatch and Done Deal. Building on the success of last year, the Techovate Leaders Summit will return to Wexford this year. The theme of this year’s conference is ‘Empowering Business Growth’ and how this can be achieved around three pillars of Fostering Innovation, Embracing Technology and Dynamic Leadership.

The Leaders Summit will deliver an array of expertise that will empower you to plan, develop and execute your business growth strategy, whether you are a start up, an SME or a large business.
